Prosecution, led by Ali Ssemakula in the Grade One Court, advised the court to proceed since all the suspects were present, but requested an adjournment due to ongoing investigations.
“All suspects are in court, and I pray for an adjournment because investigations into the mob attack are still ongoing,” he said.
Her Worship Vastine Kembabazi, the Grade One Magistrate, remanded the suspects to Nyabuhikye Prison in Ibanda District until May 13, 2025.
“Since investigations are still ongoing, the case has been adjourned to May 13, 2025, and you will remain in remand until that date,” she ruled.
