Kabarole — Police in Kabarole District have launched an investigation into the murder of Ahimbisibwe Provia, a 27-year-old woman whose lifeless body was discovered in her bedroom. The tragic incident came to light when Provia’s mother-in-law, Kyokushaba Oliver, found her body and immediately alerted authorities. 
Police officers responded promptly and deployed a sniffer dog to aid the investigation. The dog traced a scent trail that led officers to the home of Beinomugisha Aloysious, who is suspected of involvement in the murder.
Aloysious, however, is currently on the run, and police have intensified efforts to track and apprehend him.
“We are actively pursuing the suspect, and we appeal to the public to provide any information that could lead to his arrest,” said a police spokesperson.
The motive behind the murder remains unclear as investigations continue. Police have assured the community that all efforts are being made to ensure justice for the victim.
The death of Ahimbisibwe Provia has left the Kabarole community in shock, with many calling for swift action to address such violent crimes.
