MBARARA - The Director of Amity Realtors has urged Ugandans to own land, regardless of its size, emphasizing that land ownership is among the fundamental human rights. Tushabe Herbert, the Director of Operations at Amity Realtors, stated that in today's economy, there is a need to build strong, thriving communities where individuals can live, work, and prosper.
Speaking during the recently concluded "Singura Na Amity" festive season campaign at a grand draw held on January 11th at the prestigious Agip Motel, Tushabe emphasized that the first step toward poverty eradication is land ownership. During the grand draw, five individuals walked away with life-changing prizes courtesy of Amity Realtors Ltd, the leading real estate agency in western Uganda. The winners included:
These winners joined earlier recipients of prizes from the first draw, including Omaidi Godfrey and Annet Birungi, who won a plot of land and a motorcycle respectively at Mbarara Central Market.
The grand draw, attended by dignitaries, celebrities, and hundreds of enthusiastic participants, was a celebration of community and opportunity. Hosted by top Ugandan comedians and musicians, the event was electric with anticipation. Renowned comedian Anne Kansiime, the chief guest, added star power to the evening as she drew the lucky winner of the Dubai trip.
Tushabe congratulated all the winners and expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in the "Singura Na Amity" campaign. He emphasized that the campaign was more than just a giveaway—it was a celebration of land ownership and a vision for thriving communities.
